DAY 1: Thursday, September 6, 2018 - Depart the Kansas City Airport for the flight on American Airlines connecting in Philadelphia to the trans-Atlantic American Airlines flight into Manchester, England. M

DAY 2: Friday, September 7, 2018 - We arrive in Manchester, England, meet our driver and guide and board our private motor coach.  We travel to the attractive Derbyshire Spa town of Buxton.  Upon arrival we will enjoy a walking tour of the town before having some time to settle in, rest or explore on our own.  This evening we enjoy a “welcome to England” dinner.  Overnight in Buxton. D

DAY 3: Saturday, September 8, 2018 - After breakfast we travel to Bakewell for a visit to the magnificent Chatworth House, the ancestral home of the Dukes of Devonshire.  After lunch we continue to the scenic Peak District National Park.  We return to Buxton for dinner and overnight. BD

DAY 4: Sunday, September 9, 2018 - Today we depart for the charming and well-preserved medieval city of Chester.  We will take a walking tour of the town seeing the cathedral and the historic ‘rows’.  There will be some time to explore on our own before continuing north into Wales.  Dinner and overnight Mold. BD

DAY 5: Monday, September 10, 2018 - Our journey today will take us to northern Wales, an area well-known for its history and beautiful, rugged scenery.  We travel to the island of Anglesey where we visit the great ‘unfinished masterpiece’ of Beaumaris Castle.  We continue to Caernarfon Castle, the imposing fortress was built during Edward I’s campaign to conquer the north of Wales.  We return to Mold for dinner and overnight. BD

DAY 6: Tuesday, September 11, 2018 - Morning visit to Conwy Castle, perhaps the most impressive of Edwards I’s castles, and generally considered to be amongst the most impressive medieval fortifications in Britain.  We continue to Bodnant Gardens, created over 150 years ago with plants collected and brought to Britain from far afield.  The stunning backdrop for the gardens are the Carneddau Mountains of Snowdonia.  We return to Mold for dinner and overnight. BD

DAY 7: Wednesday, September 12, 2018 - After breakfast we depart for a full day in the majestic Snowdonia Mountain National Park.  The park boasts vast areas of natural beauty and unique scenery.  It is known as Eryri by the Welsh, a name that can be translated as “the place of eagles”.  Designated in 1951, the park covers 838 square miles and is the oldest of three National Parks found in Wales.  Dinner and overnight Aberystwyth. BD

DAY 8: Thursday, September 13, 2018 - Our journey continues in Snowdonia today.  We will enjoy a scenic rail trip on the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highlands Railway.  We visit Portmeirion town, created by the architect Clough Williams-Ellis from 1925 to 1976.  He wanted to show how a naturally beautiful site could be developed without spoiling it.  We return to Aberystwyth for dinner and overnight. BD

DAY 9: Friday, September 14, 2018 - This morning we depart for St. David’s in Pembrokeshire, the most westerly region of Wales.  We will take a guided tour of St. David’s Cathedral which is located on a site where a church has stood since the 6th century.  Prayer and worship has been offered to God here on a daily basis since the 6th century and continues to this day.  There will be some time for personal reflection before we continue our journey back into England.  We visit the beautiful Abbey of Tintern in the Wye Valley before concluding the day’s journey to Salisbury.  Dinner and overnight Salisbury. BD

DAY 10: Saturday, September 15, 2018 - Today we will visit the county of Wiltshire.  We return to Salisbury for a guided tour of the city and the Cathedral which has the highest spire in England.  Time permitting there will be some time to explore on our own.  Dinner and overnight Salisbury. BD

DAY 11: Sunday, September 16, 2018 - An early morning today as we travel to Stonehenge to have a guided tour of the Stone Circle Access.  We continue to Glastonbury to learn of its associated history, myth and legend.  We visit charming Wells with its beautiful cathedral and scenic Cheddar Gorge.  Dinner and overnight Forest of Dean. BD

DAY 12: Monday, September 17, 2018 - After breakfast we travel into the county of Worchestershire, famous for the Malvern Hills and its connections to the composer Edward Elgar.  We stop in Worcester for a visit to Worcester Cathedral, a magnificent sight as it rises majestically above the River Servern.  We continue to the historic market town of Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of England’s greatest writer, William Shakespeare.  After lunch we visit the Birthplace Museum before continuing to London.  On our journey, we will stop in Coventry for a short visit of Coventry Cathedral.  Dinner and overnight London. BD

DAY 13: Tuesday, September 18, 2018 - We depart for London Heathrow Airport where we board our American Airlines flight into Chicago O’Hare Airport.  Here, we clear customs and immigration and connect to our American Airlines flight back to Kansas City. BM

Price: $4,799.00*.  Price is based on a minimum of 15 Pilgrims, double occupancy without airline taxes and fuel surcharges.  Roundtrip air from Kansas City airport.  Air transportation available from other cities.  Single supplement:  $529.00 (limited space).

* Pricing does not include airline taxes and fuel surcharges currently at $542.26 per pilgrim and are subject to change until the tickets are issued.  The price is not guaranteed and may change due to the fluctuation of the British Pound and the US dollar.  We make every effort to avoid any increase and will only do so if the value of the dollar falls against the British Pound.  Your pricing was based on the exchange rate of $1.35 to the British Pound.  Optional activities and sites visited on free time are not included in the cost of the pilgrimage and are to be paid for at the time of your visit.

Roommate needed.  If a roommate cannot be found, a single supplement will be added to the final payment invoice.

Non-Refundable Deposit of $600.00 per person due with application and copy of passport by February 28, 2018.

Final payment due June 1, 2018.

Cancellation Penalties
◊ Until May 31, 2018:  $600.00 plus any unrecoverable fees.
◊ June 1, 2018 or later:  NO REFUND
