DAY 1, Sunday, July 19, 2009 - Depart Minneapolis, MN for New York City.  Upon arrival we will collect our bags and transfer to Leo House, our accommodations for the next six nights.  This afternoon we will walk to the General Theological Seminary, the oldest Seminary of the Episcopal Church, founded in 1817 which has been a New York landmark since 1826.  The Seminary is a leading center for theological education in the Anglican Communion.  The Seminary’s primary mission is to educate and form leaders for the Church in a changing world.  We will enjoy a tour of the Seminary followed by Evensong at 5:30 PM.  Overnight Leo House, New York City.

DAY 2: Monday, July 20, 2009 - Today is dedicated to Ground Zero, September 11, 2001, a day that will forever be remembered.  We start the day reflecting on the events that happened that Tuesday morning, taking time to pause and remember the victims, families of the victims and the rescue workers.  We continue on to St. Paul’s Chapel, home to the extraordinary 8 month volunteer relief effort after the terrorist attacks on September 11th.  We visit the exhibit Unwavering Spirit:  Hope and Healing at Ground Zero.  The exhibit chronicles the unique history of St. Paul’s and its volunteer ministry and it helps us to understand the happenings of the chapel during the weeks and months following September 11th.  After lunch, we will enjoy a tour of Trinity Church.  Since it’s founding in 1697, the parish of Trinity Church has played a pivotal role in the religious life of this city and nation.  Trinity Church has started, endowed or aided more than 1,700 churches, schools, hospitals and other institutions.  In the film National Treasure the treasure is hidden beneath Trinity Church.  Overnight Leo House, New York City. DAY 3: Tuesday, July 21, 2009 - New York Sightseeing.  Overnight Leo House, New York City. Additional information on this day will be given to you by your leaders. B

DAY 4: Wednesday, July 22, 2009- After breakfast, we take a ferry over to Ellis Island, opened on January 1, 1892 and in operation until 1954, the station processed over 12 million immigrant steamship passengers and over 40 percent of America’s population can trace their ancestry to the island.  We visit the Statue of Liberty, a gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States and a universal symbol of freedom and democracy.  Overnight Leo House, New York City. DAY 5: Thursday, July 23, 2009 - Our first stop today is Hayden Planetarium where we will see the space show.  We continue to Central Park where we will follow a guide book and chart out a Meditation Walk.  We will have a leisurely meditation walk enjoying “God’s Creation”.  Overnight Leo House, New York City. DAY 6: Friday, July 24, 2009 - Today we will be free to explore on our own in small groups with a chaperone.  There will be time to shop, reflect, visit new sites, or revisit some of your favorite sites.  Overnight Leo House, New York City. B

DAY 7: Saturday, July 25, 2009 - This morning we will have some time to explore on our own in small groups with a chaperone.  We board our shuttle at 3:00 PM and transfer to New York, JFK Airport for our return flight home. B

Price: $889.00   Price based on 2 family rooms for youth and 2 twin rooms for the chaperones(Includes Trip Cancellation/Interruption Insurance):  Minimum 13 pilgrims   Price includes air from Minneapolis, MN on Northwest Airlines.  Price excludes airline taxes and fuel surcharges that will be added to your final payment invoice.

* Worldwide Pilgrimage Ministries will provide the air, accommodations, visit to the General Theological Seminary and airport transfers in New York.  All sightseeing has been arranged by The Church of the Epiphany and is not included in the cost of the pilgrimage. *

Final payment due by April 17, 2009.

Cancellation Penalties
◊ February 24, 2009 – April 17, 2009 - $100.00 plus any unrecoverable fees.
◊ April 18, 2009 – June 18, 2009 - $200.00 plus any unrecoverable fees.
◊ After June 19, 2009 : NO REFUND

$200.00 per person deposit due with registration.
